About Lutheran Community at Telford

The numerous parks in the area provide an ideal setting for picnics, walking, biking or fishing. Located in the neighboring community of Souderton is the Senior Adult Activity Center of the Indian Valley. Residents of The Lutheran Community at Telford find, within wasy walking distance, the Indian Valley library, a bank, supermarket, restaurant and pharmacy. The valley is home to a wealth of churches representing many demoninations and a variety of worship opportunities. The Lutheran Community at Telford also has the benefit of a chapel, located in the Nursing Center, which was dedicated in 1992 and can accommodate over 125 people. The 75 bed nursing unit is licensed by the PA Department of Health. It is both a Medicare and Medicaid approved facility. The 57 bed personal care unit is licensed by the PA Department of Welfare. An activity department, under the supervision of a certified activity director, provides residents with stimulating and meaningful acitvities designed to maintain and enhance their level of function.
