This local landmark was originally a three -story hotel constructed in 1912 by Edwin and Lola Gasque. Named by combining the original owners' first names, The Edwinola features Doric columns, wrap around porches and a Mansard roof, a southern version of neo-classical architure. Added to the original building in the mid 1980's, the Edwinola's eight story apartment complex towers over the quaint town of Dade City. Today our residents enjoy private apartments with scenic views from our upper floors. Our independent and assisted living apartments are leased on a monthly basis with six different floor plans to choose from, ranging from studios to two bedrooms with two baths. ALZ Place is our version of a secured Alzheimer's unit. We offer shared and private rooms for our residents who need highly supervised care around the clock. ALZ Place residents enjoy their own dining room, TV room, activities and entertainment. Their monthly rate includes assistance and medication supervision. We are a provider for Medicaid Waiver, Evercare, Citrus Health Care and American Elder Care. The Edwinola Retirement Community is located in Historic Dade City, Florida. Our beautiful facility is across the street from Agnes Lamb Park and just blocks away from downtown shopping, restaurants and local events.
